There are 4 levels of quality:

• EA quality - three sides without knots, without discoloration and other defects, KD 10% (+/- 2%) 
• quality A – sound, pin and closed knots up to 20mm are allowed, color change up to 50%, KD 10% (+/- 2%)
• quality B - sound, pin and closed knots up to 50 mm are allowed, color change is unlimited, KD 10% (+/- 2%)
• quality C - unsound and unclosed knots up to 50 mm are allowed, color change is unlimited, KD 10% (+/- 2%)
